How I Got Here
I was not a particularly gifted kid growing up — not especially sharp, and dealing with headaches and health issues more often than I would have liked. Things shifted when I got my first phone at 16. The same day, I started a YouTube channel. I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I needed to be on the internet, so the first thing I ever uploaded was a magic trick video.
That turned into a gaming channel where I posted game mods. It was 2017, and I grew it to 5,000 subscribers and started earning real money from it — enough to buy my own laptop while I was still in school.
I have always had something going on the side, and almost all of it has failed. What shows up in the Experience section below is the official record; the rest is a long list of quiet attempts that never went anywhere, not really worth listing one by one. Not once, though, have I thought about stopping. Somewhere in all of it I became a jack of all trades — I picked up a little of everything, and I still procrastinate more than I would like to admit.
One thing stuck with me since childhood: how illogical and unkind people can be. I kept coming back to the idea that better education is the actual fix, and that became the thing I wanted to build. I call it Education 2.0. In December 2023, I left everything else I was working on to go after it full-time. I wrote a book in 2024, spent the next year improving it and launching a study program alongside it in 2025, and in 2026 I am building MaPa. Everything since 2023 has been this one pursuit.
